Refunds and purchase conditions:

·       Prices listed on the site are fixed and in Australian dollars and constitute price for 1 tuber as described in each individual listing.

·       Kallista Gardener guarantees that all tubers are shipped with a visible eye, firm body and that we have made our best effort to label/package correctly.

·       While all care is given to provide high quality tubers, sometimes mislabels or packaging mistakes can be made. In the event that the tuber does not meet the specifics of your purchase or you have concerns about the viability of the tuber, please contact us immediately upon your parcels arrival for a refund. Kallista Gardener does not accept responsibility for tubers left unopened or storage conditions not suitable for your area.

·       If you are concerned about the quality of your tuber please send an email to Abby at kallistagardener@gmail.com with your order number, type and photos and we will be more than happy to discuss and find solution to your concern.

·       When shopping, orders will not be held in the cart and are not reserved until after payment has been made.

·       If in the event a purchase order is unable to be fulfilled, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements either offering a substitution or a full refund. We understand that this can be frustrating, but as we sell a live product we can not produce more items.

·       Due care has been taken to provide healthy stock. Kallista Gardener is not able to accept responsibility for plants that show signs of virus or disease once planted. We would encourage growers to consider good plant hygiene, quarantine practices and disinfecting snips/tools between each plant to minimize the spread in your garden. There are several articles to explore in relation to managing the spread and understanding virus in your garden on the Dahlia Society of Australia webpage.

Grow notes and advice:

·       Growing dahlias successfully can require specialised knowledge and care. While they can be grown in many climates, we recommend that new growers contact their local dahlia society to obtain information relevant to growing dahlias in their specific climate, soil type, seasonal timing, watering, feeding and gardening style. Societies are a wonderful source of advice, friendship and connection to community. I am so thankful for all the wisdom shared by the Dahlia Society of Victoria and fun I have had exhibiting these amazing blooms.

·       Tubers come in all different shapes and sizes and are not uniform. Some varieties produce naturally small tubers, some grow long and thin, small round like golf balls or giant sweet potato shaped tubers. This tuber variation is normal and specific to the variety.
